How it works
Given Word never reads your inbox or the messages people send you. It looks at your own outgoing messages, finds the commitment, and puts it in a list you control.
On Gmail it reads the compose box at the moment you click Send, and only if the email really sends. On Slack and WhatsApp it sees messages you send as they appear, never the history already on screen.
Local rules suggest commitments for you to approve. With the AI plan, a language model also understands context: questions, quotes and "if I had time" are not promises.
Due-today and overdue promises become notifications with Done, Snooze and Dismiss. Open the source conversation in one click.
Pricing
Local costs less and keeps everything on your device. AI adds a language model that reads context for you.

Not ready to pay? Try everything free for 14 days, no card needed. After that you pick a plan, and tracking pauses until you do.
Dropped follow-ups cost real time and trust. If chasing them costs you two hours a month, that is about $100 of your time a year (an illustration at $50 an hour, not a promise of savings).
Privacy
Tracked promises, settings and review items are stored in your browser, not on our servers. If you use the hosted AI, the text of a message you send is processed to find the commitment and is not stored. There is no analytics, advertising or tracking. Read the privacy policy.
Questions
Gmail, Slack and WhatsApp Web. LinkedIn messaging is not supported yet.
No. On Gmail it reads your compose box only when you click Send. It never scans received mail or opened conversations.
Tracking and reminders pause until you pick Local or AI. The promises you already tracked stay in your browser and stay visible, and you can keep using them once you subscribe.
Local uses rules to find commitments and asks you to approve each one. AI reads context, so it catches fewer false alarms and more real promises. You can switch any time from your account page.
Yes, from your account page. You keep your plan until the end of the period you paid for.
No. Given Word is an independent product.
