Terms of service

Last updated 27 October 2026. These terms are between you and ("we").

The service

Given Word is a browser extension that detects commitments you make in messages and reminds you about them, with an optional hosted AI service. There is no free version: an account starts a 14-day trial, after which a paid plan is required to keep tracking.

Acceptable use

AI results can be wrong

Detection is automatic and imperfect. It can miss a commitment or suggest one that is not real. Given Word is a memory aid, not a guarantee. Review what it saves and do not rely on it for critical, legal or safety-related deadlines.

Availability and changes

Sites change their pages without notice, which can stop detection from working until we update the extension. We may change or discontinue features, and we will give notice of material changes to paid plans.

Liability

The service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for missed commitments, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
